Wraxle LLC publishes Place in Time. This policy explains what information we handle when you visit placeintime.app or use the current version of the Place in Time iPhone game.

Information handled by the website

When you visit placeintime.app, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes request data needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include your IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, and security signals.

We use PostHog to understand website use. PostHog can collect page views, clicks, referring pages, approximate location derived from network information, device and browser details, and a randomly generated visitor identifier stored in your browser. We do not use PostHog session recordings. We do not send names, email addresses, game answers, or purchase details to PostHog from this website.

Information handled by the iPhone game

The current app stores game progress, settings, notification preferences, and a generated display name on your device. Local notifications are scheduled on your device if you enable them.

Purchases are processed by Apple. Wraxle LLC does not receive your full payment card number. Apple may provide transaction details needed to confirm a purchase or restore access.

The current app does not connect accounts, cloud sync, or server leaderboards. If a later version adds those features, we will update this policy before the related information is collected.

How we use information

We use information to deliver and secure the website, understand which pages and features are useful, diagnose faults, prevent abuse, provide purchased features, and comply with law.

Service providers

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

We retain website analytics for up to 12 months unless a longer period is needed for security, legal compliance, or an active dispute. Cloudflare and Apple set their own retention periods for information they process independently.

You can remove data stored by the app by using its reset controls, where available, or by deleting the app. To ask about information controlled by Wraxle LLC, request access, correction, or deletion at [email protected]. We may need to verify your request.

Your choices

You can limit website analytics with browser privacy controls, by clearing site data, or by enabling a Do Not Track signal. You can turn app notifications off in iOS Settings. App Store purchase and subscription controls are available through your Apple Account settings.

Children

Place in Time is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information to us.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system is completely secure. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Place in Time changes. We will post the revised policy here and change the date above. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
