These Terms of Use govern your use of the Place in Time website and iPhone game, which are published by Wraxle LLC. By using Place in Time, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Place in Time is a history game that asks you to estimate the year of historical events. Features, puzzles, scoring, availability, and supported devices may change as the service develops.
Who may use Place in Time
You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use.
Acceptable use
You may use Place in Time for personal, noncommercial entertainment. You may not:
- break the law or infringe another person's rights;
- interfere with the service, evade security controls, or attempt unauthorized access;
- use automated tools to scrape, copy, or overload the service;
- reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- submit harmful code, abusive content, or misleading information; or
- cheat, manipulate scores, or disrupt fair play.
Purchases
If Place in Time offers paid features, purchases made through the App Store are billed and managed by Apple under your agreement with Apple. Prices and taxes can vary by region. Refunds are handled under Apple's policies unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Historical content
We aim for accurate and useful historical content, but dates, descriptions, images, and scoring can contain errors or reflect editorial judgment. Place in Time is an entertainment product, not an academic, legal, financial, or other professional source.
Ownership and license
Place in Time, including its software, design, text, graphics, puzzles, and trademarks, belongs to Wraxle LLC or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use the service under these terms. No other rights are granted.
Third-party services
Place in Time may rely on or link to third-party services, including Apple services. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or separate terms.
Suspension and changes
We may change, suspend, or stop all or part of Place in Time. We may restrict access if we reasonably believe these terms were violated or action is needed to protect users, Wraxle LLC, or the service.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Place in Time is provided "as is" and "as available." Wraxle LLC disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not promise that the service will always be available, secure, or error-free.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Wraxle LLC and its members, employees, contractors, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill arising from Place in Time. Wraxle LLC's total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Wraxle LLC for the service in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the revised terms here and change the date above. Your continued use after the new terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent allowed by law.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by applicable law, without overriding consumer rights that cannot be waived where you live. If one part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.
